The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) Nurture Ohio Pregnancy Risk Assessment System (PRAF 2.0) is designed so that all people eligible for Medicaid will access comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare needed for their pregnancy and newborn infants by providing Managed Care Plans and key state agencies with real-time information about pregnant individuals. Maternity care practices receive reimbursement for each patient enrolled in the Nurture Ohio PRAF system. OPQC is working in collaboration with ODM to revise the PRAF with an aim to assess key clinical care issues, maternal mental health, substance use disorder, and health related social needs.
